MultiView AK500 Cat5 Video Receiver

The AK500 resolution specification is QXGA (2048x1536) @ 500 feet (152 meters) @ 70Hz refresh.
(Note: the MultiView 450 Series was limited to 1280 resolution at 450 feet. The AK500 uses the same compensation technology as the AK1000/1500 receivers.)

New features being introduced by the AK500 include:
a) EQ - Continuous, knob-turn equalization adjustment replaces the three-position switch. This provides finer granularity in the adjustment and helps optimize the image quality in the 0 to 500-ft. range.

b) Skew Compensation - included. 10ns of delay (color skew adjustment) can be set via dipswitch, on each of the three colors. This will typically result in a better image at distances that are on the longer side of the 0 to 500-foot total range, since you are never more than 5ns away from perfect.

c) User configurable for:
• Composite, 'S', component, RGsB, RGBHV video
• Video and analog or SPDIF digital audio
• Video and simplex RS232 serial data (included)
• Video and duplex RS232 serial data (option)
• Duplex serial, stereo audio and high resolution video on a single Cat5 cable (-SA models)
• New: S-video plus stereo audio
• Note: also available in optional "DP" daisy-chain version
