16-Port KVM Over the NET™
The KN2116 KVM Over the NET Switch series offers a practical and affordable managemnet soultion for data centers housing a large number of servers. These switches are ideal for network administrators who are responsible for misssion critical operations and require 24H/7D server room access.
The KN2116 allow 3 administrators- one logged in at a local console; the other two logged in remotely from any IP connected web browser-and up to 32 users to securely monitor, manage, troubleshoot or run applications from up to 16 connected devices respectively.
Features
A single KVM switch provides three bus sessions for two IP and one local user access.
Tri-bus support - 1 local and two remote users can access different KN2116 ports at the same time.
Detachable front panel.
Analog access at the rack.
Anywhere, anytime, digital IP KVM access.
Remote KVM switch access via LAN, WAN, or Internet.
Designed for multi- platform servers - supports all major server platforms.
Supports VT100 serial-based devices with KA9140.
PS/2, Sun USB and Serial Devices.
High video resolution: up to 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz.
Supports 10Base-T, 100Base-T, TCP/IP, and HTTPS (Browser only).
Array mode - can open 8 PC port control monitors at the same time.
Supports remote power control(Power over the NET)PN0108.
Provides booting and power cycling of remote servers and devices.
Uses the same management interface for the data center and the branch offices.
Advanced security features: password protection, advanced encryption technologies (1024 bit RSA, 56 bit DES, 256 bit AES, 128 bit SSL).
Supports 64 user accounts.(Both Graphic OSD and Windows Base).
CPU module design - supports multiplatform server environments including PS/2,USB, Serial and Sun.
